The Aftermath is my intro to P.A.S.T., but it was actually originally conceived as an outro for a previous project - my old band Precipice.

We had wanted to do an ambient Fear Factory type of soundscape at the end of an album, depicting the aftermath of a war. The Dystopian, Post-Apocalyptic image stuck with me, so when the idea was scrapped to use it in Precipice, I decided to use it here.

The Aftermath set the tone for my 3rd album. The Concept practically wrote itself. Earth, as we know it, has been destroyed.
And now the robots rule over us.
